The online reporting system is intended for non-emergency incidents only. If you need immediate police assistance, dial 9-1-1. Online reports require the same identifying information (such as name, address, phone number, and date of birth) that would be provided when filing in person, as well as a valid email address and phone number to allow for followup notifications. Please note that copies of online reports are not automatically provided; to obtain one, a request must be submitted through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Online reporting is not appropriate in situations where the reporting person is requesting the presence of a police officer, when items of evidentiary value need to be processed or collected, or when a crime is in progress.
