During the month of July, Bartlett Police Department partnered with the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois State Police and more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to step up enforcement efforts across the state in an effort to reduce speeding.
Bartlett Police Department conducted 20 hours of specialized traffic enforcement to target speeding offenses, which resulted in 46 vehicles being stopped for committing traffic violations:
- 3 motorists were charged for aggravated speeding.
- 1 motorist was charged for driving while license suspended.
- 37 citations were issued for speeding violations.
- 6 citations were issued for other moving or non-moving violations.
