Bartlett Police Announce IDOT Traffic Safety Campaign Results
Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Independence Day traffic enforcement campaign. Bartlett Police Department’s participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.
Bartlett Police Department conducted specialized traffic enforcement which resulted in:
Misdemeanor Offenses
- Two motorists were charged for driving under the influence of alcohol.
- Two motorists were charged for driving without a valid license.
- One motorist was charged for aggravated speeding.
Enforcement Contacts
- 10 citations for speeding violations.
- 6 citations for seatbelt violations.
- 23 citations for other moving or non-moving violations.
