Post Date:06/16/2026 8:46 AM
๐ŸŒณ Brush Pickup Update 6/16 10 a.m.
Trees R Us is currently collecting unbundled brush across town. Please note your area's schedule below. Crews will only make ONE pass per neighborhood. Once they go through your street, they will not be coming back.
๐Ÿ“ East side of S. Bartlett:
Crews are working through your area as part of the regularly scheduled program. Please have any storm damage brush out at the curb immediately.
๐Ÿ“ West side of S. Bartlett & South of the Metra tracks:
Crews will begin sweeping this section starting on Thursday and will work through the weekend. All brush MUST be at the curb by Thursday at 7 a.m.

๐ŸŒณDebris and Brush Clean-Up Update 6/15 2pm:
Our crews and partners are continuing to work hard across the village to clear debris and sweep our streets! Here is the latest on our progress and what to expect:
๐Ÿ“Impacted Neighborhoods: Trees Rโ€™ Us was out over the weekend in the three most impacted areas and has crews circling those neighborhoods again today to collect brush placed at the curb.
๐Ÿ“Week 2 Brush Collection: A separate Trees Rโ€™ Us crew is kicking off our regularly scheduled Week 2 collection for areas east of S. Bartlett and north of the Metra tracks. For areas outside of the regularly scheduled collection, there will be a separate pick-up to be announced at a later date. BRUSH DO NOT NEED TO BE BUNDLED.
๐ŸงนStreet Sweeping: CleanSweep/LRS has started street sweeping in town! They are beginning on the west side and will work their way east.
๐ŸŒณParkway & Branch Clean-Up: Public Works crews are actively removing hanging branches and clearing parkways in zones not covered by the Trees Rโ€™ Us schedule. We are also beginning assessments for any parkway trees that require removal at a later date.

Brush Staging: You may notice collected brush piled on the west side of Ruzicka Parkโ€”this is being temporarily staged by Trees R' Us for future disposal.  โš ๏ธPlease avoid this area for your own safety and to allow crews the space they need to work. โš ๏ธ
