Bartlett Police Announce IDOT Traffic Safety Campaign Results
Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Memorial Day traffic enforcement campaign. Bartlett Police Department’s participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.
Bartlett Police Department conducted specialized traffic enforcement which resulted in the following:
- Two motorists were charged for driving under the influence of alcohol.
- Two motorists were charged for driving while license suspended.
- Two motorists were charged for not having a valid driver’s license.
- One motorist was charged for not having a valid commercial driver’s license.
- One motorist was charged for aggravated speeding
- 6 citations were issued for speeding violations.
- 10 citations were issued for seatbelt violations.
- 28 citations were issued for other moving and non-moving violations.
