On January 30, 2026, the Bartlett Police Department responded to the 5500 block of County Farm Road for a report of an unresponsive person. Officers located a deceased individual outside, behind one of the businesses in the area.

The Bartlett Police Department is actively investigating the incident in coordination with the DuPage County Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigative Team (MERIT) and the DuPage County Coroner’s Office.

The identity of the individual and the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
