Monday, 1/5/2026 — Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) Christmas/New Year’s traffic enforcement campaign. Participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by the IDOT’s Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.
The police department conducted specialized traffic enforcement which resulted in the following:
- One motorist was charged for aggravated driving under the influence.
- One motorist was charged for driving under the influence of a combination of drugs.
- One motorist was charged for driving while license revoked.
- Two motorists were charged for driving while license suspended.
- Two motorists were charged for driving without a valid license.
- 13 citations were issued for seatbelt violations.
- 30 citations were issued for other moving and non-moving violations.
