Wednesday, 12/3/2025 - Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) 2025 Thanksgiving traffic enforcement campaign. The department's participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by IDOT's Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.  

The Police Department conducted specialized traffic enforcement which resulted in the following:

• Two motorists were charged for driving under the influence of alcohol.
• One motorist was charged for driving while license suspended.
• One motorist was charged for driving without a valid license.
• 9 citations were issued for speed violations.
• 7 citations were issued for seatbelt violations.
• 18 citations were issued for other moving or non-moving violations.
