UPDATED Thursday, 10/30/2025: Energy delivery company Enbridge expects to complete pipeline maintenance activities on West Bartlett Road the week of 10/27 with asphalt crews repaving and striping the road the week of 11/3. The road is expected to fully reopen on Friday, 11/7, if all goes as planned.
UPDATED 10/15/2025: Due to some unanticipated challenges, Enbridge has extended the work on W. Bartlett Road until Monday, 11/3/2025. There are multiple utilities within the project footprint, and due to the depth of the utilities and the gravelly soil conditions, the work is taking approximately twice as long as originally planned.
According to Enbridge, extending the road closure is not ideal, but it is necessary in order to ensure the safe completion of the project. The company apologizes for the inconvenience and the added delay.
Updated Wednesday, 8/20/2025 - Pipeline and energy company Enbridge has scheduled pipeline maintenance activities on a small section of West Bartlett Road between IL Route 25 and Munger Road beginning the week of August 25 (rescheduled from August 18) and lasting for approximately 6 – 8 weeks. During this time, West Bartlett Road will be closed in that area. Signs will be posted during construction notifying drivers of an alternate route.
