Wednesday, 8/6/2025 - During the month of July, Bartlett Police Department partnered with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Illinois State Police and more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to step up efforts across the state to reduce speeding.
Bartlett Police Department conducted 36 hours of specialized traffic enforcement to target speeding offenses, which resulted in 88 vehicles being stopped for violations:
- 1 motorist was charged with aggravated speeding 35+ mph over the posted limit.
- 59 citations were issued for speeding violations.
- 17 citations were issued for other moving or non-moving violations.
