Thursday, 7/10/2025 - Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) 2025 Independence Day traffic enforcement campaign. Participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by IDOT’s Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.  

Bartlett Police Department conducted specialized traffic enforcement which resulted in the following:

• One motorist was charged for driving while license revoked.
• One motorist was charged for aggravated speeding.
• One motorist was located after leaving the scene of a traffic crash which occurred in a neighboring jurisdiction.
• 38 citations were issued for other moving or non-moving violations.
