Thursday, 7/11/2024 - Bartlett Police Department participated in the Illinois Department of Transportation’s (IDOT) 2024 Independence Day traffic enforcement campaign. Participation in this statewide traffic safety initiative was fully funded by a grant awarded by IDOT's Bureau of Safety Programs & Engineering.  

The police department conducted specialized traffic enforcement, which resulted in 51 vehicles being stopped for committing traffic violations:

Misdemeanor/Ordinance Offenses

• Three motorists were charged for driving without a valid license.
• One motorist was charged for driving while license suspended.

Enforcement Contacts

• 4 citations for speeding violations.
• 14 citations for seatbelt violations.
• 20 citations for other moving or non-moving violations.
