Have you ever wondered what goes into maintaining the infrastructure in the Village of Bartlett? Come to the second annual public works open house and see what the streets, water, and wastewater divisions do on a daily basis to serve the community. 

It’s a great opportunity to catch up on the projects occurring around the village, and experience educational demonstrations related to the department’s maintenance and improvements of vital infrastructure with new technology and tools.

The Bartlett Public Works Open House is on Friday, 9/19, from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be food, beverages, and various activities including:

• General tour of the public works complex and facilities including the Lake Michigan water receiving station and the streets garages.
• A guided tour through the water reclamation facility.
• Touch-A-Truck with the public works fleet of vehicles and various heavy equipment.
• Demonstrations from the streets, water, and the sewer divisions.

The public works complex is located at 1150 Bittersweet Drive just off Stearns Road. Hope to see you there!
